ABPath is Accepting Nominations for the Continuing Certification (CC) Advisory Committee.

Sept. 11, 2024 – ABPath is currently accepting nominations for the Continuing Certification (CC) Advisory Committee. Community pathologists and diplomates with expertise in pediatric pathology, forensic pathology, gastrointestinal pathology and general surgical pathology are particularly encouraged to apply.

The CC Advisory Committee is made up of 12 volunteer diplomates with diverse backgrounds, specialties, and experience and is chaired by an ABPath Trustee. It is responsible for advising the ABPath Board of Trustees for continuous evaluation and improvement of certification, Continuing Certification and other ABPath services and initiatives from a diplomate’s perspective. Each member serves for three years on the Committee.

Meetings are held virtually once a quarter and last an hour. There are times when there are some requests outside of the meeting to review materials for feedback purposes prior to a meeting.
