The American Board of Pathology Announces the Association for the Advancement of Blood and Biotherapies (AABB) as a Cooperating Society
TAMPA, Fla., (March 2, 2022) – The Trustees of the American Board of Pathology (ABPath) are pleased to announce that the Association for the Advancement of Blood and Biotherapies (AABB) has been approved as a Cooperating Society of the ABPath.
Cooperating Societies serve in an advisory capacity to the ABPath regarding issues pertaining to training, education, and certification in Pathology. The Trustees seek input and advice from Cooperating Societies on an ad hoc basis and at the annual spring meeting of the Board of Trustees. The Trustees also solicit nominees from the Cooperating Societies for candidates to fill open Trustee positions.
